Begin by presenting equal opportunities to women in every available field, various programs
must be held where women can be taught skills to fend for themselves. Educational
empowerment is one of the most important ways for women to achieve equal socio-
economic status, from ground level young girls should be granted the opportunity to quality education and keep learning which will assist them in becoming upstanding citizens. By doing so, their employment opportunities will be greatly improved, and a generational curse can be broken. Studies show that a well-educated woman can manage both her personal and professional life, also a well-educated provides the skill, knowledge,
and self-assurance
necessary to be a better worker, a better mother and a better citizen. Studies also do
confirm that, nearly 63% of the world’s 163 million illiterate youngsters are female. By
providing education to all children, literacy rates will rise, boosting development in
undeveloped countries. This should be demolished and taken into consideration that
education is a right and not a privilege.
When women have equal rights and access to education, they are more likely to engage in
business and economic activities. According to the most recent Mastercard Index of Women
Entrepreneurs (MIWE), South Africa ranks as the second highest country in Africa in terms of its proportion of women-owned businesses and the formal support available for women
entrepreneurs, this is evident enough that women empowerment and women development is
expanding in the country and is appearing that women are being supported.
One can further say there is no formular to being a successful entrepreneur, there is a lot at
stake when you embark on the journey of entrepreneurship. The world as a unit need to fully
understand that empowering women in business does not only stop on International
Women’s Day (IWD). The way that progress can truly be made for any critical movement
requires attention all throughout the year. It needs to be taken into consideration that events
related to empowering business successful women and ways to develop women in
education need to be consistently hosted in order to achieve the broadness of women
empowerment.
In addition to that, women also need to understand that they should also involve themselves
in learning how to broaden their intelligence and be active into getting in education and
businesses that upskill them. Women should always remember that sharing stories and
experiences has always been one of the most effective ways to change minds and provoke
action. That’s why pairing up women with strong female role models is one of the many ways
to empower yourself to succeed in both your company and their industries.
